“It’s all about delivering a quality service, on time, every time, to every customer.” That’s the dream and mantra of our Managing Director, Martin Pugh, who has a career history spanning both the retail and service sectors. He has held roles in finance and sales as well as senior management roles in the washrooms services sector for more years than he cares to remember. As one of our co-founders, Martin always leads from the front and continually shares the vision that exceeding customer expectations is the road to success. With public perception of hygiene higher than ever before, and the highest standards of cleanliness demanded in washrooms outside the home, he believes it is a fantastically exciting time to head a company that delivers the best in standards and customer service. He makes sure we achieve this through constantly innovating our products and services. In his personal life, Martin has the pleasure of supporting two sons; one an aspiring actor and the other an aspiring musician. So it’s likely he will be working to keep them in the lifestyle they have become accustomed to for some considerable time!
Sales and Marketing Director
Simon co-founder, shares the vision of building the best washroom services company in the Midlands, and we are rapidly achieving this as our company goes from strength to strength. Simon has worked in the Washroom Services Sector since 1988 and has held various management roles. His experience in washroom services includes working in New Zealand, the USA and the UK; all countries where hygiene standards are exceptionally high. Simon continues to get great pleasure from leading a successful and enthusiastic team and being part of a company that continues to grow by delivering highest quality service to its customers. Simon is a devoted family man. He has been married for over 31 years and has two children. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, and watching rugby and motorsports.
Project Delivery Manager
Sam has been a vital part of Pure Washrooms since she joined us in January 2008, after being inspired by Pure Washrooms’ genuine passion to deliver excellent customer service. Sam brings with her over 20 years’ experience in admin and management and you may already recognise her name as she was our Office Manager for 8 years. Sam is often referred to as the glue that holds the company together, proving that her admin skills and management experience are vital to us. As our company has grown, Sam has been responsible for more demanding projects like the successful implementation of our new Data Software which has resulted in Sam being promoted to Project Delivery Manager. As part of her new role Sam will continue to drive the business forward with her expert eye for development and problem solving in both systems and processes, working to always ensure that we are delivering fairly priced services to our clients that exceed their expectations. Sam is a proud mother of two sons, the eldest is an accountant, and her younger son is an accounts assistant. Sam enjoys travelling, listening to live music, socialising and making the most of her weekends with her partner Steve, family and close friends.
Anne-Marie joined Pure Washrooms in March 2017 having over 30 years’ admin and supervisory management experience. Anne-Marie began “life” with 6 years in the military and has worked in a diversity of organisations including both the public and private sector. Anne-Marie’s ethos is work hard, play hard with the emphasis always on teamwork. “I believe Pure Washrooms’ customer service is what sets it apart from the rest and since arriving, I have been extremely impressed by the focus on our customers by everyone in the organisation.” Anne-Marie plans to continue the work already done in guiding and developing the department into a team of experts in the technical processing of all of Pure Washroom’s contract and servicing administration. Anne-Marie has 4 children, 2 daughters and a son who are grown up and have “flown the nest” and a daughter still at primary school.
David brings over 14 years of experience in Service Delivery Management, holding positions such as National Service Delivery Manager and Field Operations manager for companies such as Sky Television and Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe. He brings with him substantial experience in service delivery and field operations, making him an important and valued member of the Pure Washrooms team. David said soon after joining us, “I am delighted to have come on-board with the team here at Pure Washrooms. From top to bottom and in every department, a team that truly has the customer and the customer experience at heart. There’s not a single member of staff here who wouldn’t go that extra mile – for the customer or each other. That’s inspiring, and very refreshing to see!.” David is passionate about quality, the customer journey, and delivering a service which is second to none. “It is very exciting to have joined a business that shares my passion for excellence in service delivery.”
